Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora Announces Release Date & Openworld Co-op Mode
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora announces release date and exciting open-world co-op gameplay details for gamers. Recently, Ubisoft has stirred up the gaming community by revealing that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be released on December 7th, featuring a highly anticipated co-op open-world feature.
The Avatar franchise has remained surprisingly silent after the groundbreaking success of its first film, but now it's back with a bang. Avatar: The Way of Water has surpassed the $2 billion mark at the global box office, paving the way for the release of Avatar 4 and 5 for eager gamers. While fans await those releases, they can look forward to Avatar 3 next year and immerse themselves in the world of Pandora with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora this December.
On December 7th, avid Avatar fans will have the opportunity to explore the open world of Pandora brought to life by Massive Entertainment studio. The newly revealed game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, by Ubisoft showcases a third-person adventure as players traverse the stunning forests of Pandora atop ikran creatures. Additionally, the game will also feature first-person shooter gameplay, where players engage in fiery battles against the RDA, reminiscent of the Far Cry series. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will allow gamers to experience both third-person exploration and first-person shooting alongside friends, as Ubisoft has confirmed online co-op support.
Alongside an overview of the gameplay, Avatar enthusiasts were treated to a trailer revealing more about the story of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. According to the trailer, the game is set on the western border of the planet, an area yet unexplored by previous Avatar films. Players will assume the role of a Na'vi individual who was kidnapped and raised by the RDA but later witnesses the RDA's massacre of other Na'vi under their care. The player's character and some other Na'vi are rescued and put into cryo-sleep. After 15 years have passed, the game's events will unfold, and the player's Na'vi character will be free to explore Pandora.
As a Na'vi raised by the RDA, players will have to relearn what it means to be a Na'vi. Initial missions will allow players to interact with Na'vi tribes and learn things like bonding with their ikran companions. Similar to how the Na'vi in the film connect with the Tree of Souls, the player's Na'vi character in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will also have the ability to connect with the planet and upgrade skills through a traditional skill tree system.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora looks exactly as advertised: an open-world Avatar game in the style of other Ubisoft open-world titles
