Many Cyberpunk 2077 fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Phantom Liberty content, and the developers have recently revealed that this DLC will come with multiple endings, as well as a new ending for the base game. Open-world genre remains popular among gamers, with many titles providing hundreds of hours of engaging content, and CD Projekt Red's science fiction role-playing game is no exception, despite its rocky reputation upon its release in 2020.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty recently announced its release date on September 26. The DLC will introduce a new story and characters set in the Dogtown district. While Keanu Reeves will reprise his role as the outspoken Johnny Silverhand, the star power of Idris Elba in the role of Solomon Reed has garnered significant attention from fans. Above all, the studio has hinted at surprising elements that players can expect from the DLC.
In a recent interview with WCCFTech, CDPR discussed the upcoming content for Cyberpunk 2077, delving into details such as the full scope of the expansion and the reasons behind choosing actor Elba. Game Director Gabe Amatangelo also discussed the location where Phantom Liberty will take place within the main game, confirming that the new story will unfold "in the middle" of the game's timeline. Amatangelo further mentioned that the new content will have "different endings" based on the events of the story and added that, depending on how the DLC concludes, it may unlock a new ending for the base game
